Peter and Norma, What a beautiful relaxing few days! It is beyond what I even imagined. We have had a lot on our plates for the past year and a half and just needed to "get away." We did some exploring on the Sunshine Coast (our first time here) and although Rick's ankles paid the price, it was all worth while. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, your gracious hospitality, Norma, your amazing cookies and breakfasts, and all you valuable suggestions. All in all it made our "40th" celebration extremely memorable. We'll be back.
26 SDeptember 2013 Peter and Norma, Thank you for your gracious hospitality. It has been a fantastic experience to stay at your lovely b&b. Two nights was just not long enough. We wished it could have been longer. The Discovery suite had everything we could wish for, a super comfy bed and views to die for. Delicious breakfasts and especially the apple pancake that Norma made. We really hope that we can return one day and will recommend "At the Shore" without hesitation to our clients back home.
We had such a wonderful time here in August of 2010 that we just had to come back.
Peter and Norma: Thank you so much for our beautiful stay in the Discovery Suite. Perfect hosting and great breakfasts. We loved all the extra touches, your lovely china, the great coffee, all your wonderful books. I wish we had more time to enjoy all this suite has to offer. The media room was a great extra. Love the movie, "De-lovely" with Cole Porter's music. Love the grounds and all the little clay animals and great art. Would love to come again when the weather is warmer. Thanks so much for everything!
August 27, 2013 A beautiful accommodation is a beautiful setting! We wish we could stay longer to enjoy all this - we had a great time hiking, kayaking, following your suggestion for a boat ride with Mermaid Tours and the weather cooperated perfectly. Thank you for letting us and our two boys be guests in your home and for serving up such delicious breakfasts. If we make it back to the Sunshine Coast - which we really hope to do - we would definitely stay with you again.
You are true hosts at your wonderful B&B! From the very warm welcome we received on the first night, you have made us feel a part of your home (and what a beautiful home it is) We really enjoyed and appreciated the amenities and special features (cozy fireplaces etc.) that allowed us to relax and just be together. Thank you very much for our wonderful weekend escape. The peace, calmness, views, weather and delicious breakfasts have been unforgettable, We look forward to our next visit.
September 26, 2013 Peter and Norma, Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Two days here is definitely not enough. We both would love to come back for a longer visit and be able to spend more time enjoying the hospitality and your lovely suite, the Bluenose. Thanks for linking us to the Princess Louisa Inlet cruise through your website. That has been the highlight of our trip. Just can't think of enough good things to say about your b&b. The breakfasts are incredible (loved Norma's seed bread) as are the views. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Friday, June 21, 2013. Thank you, Norma and Peter. The view from your hot tub is the best! We have come from flat Winnipeg - to bicycle along the Sunshine Coast - What a ride! The roller coaster hills were fun and challenging. Your B&B is absolutely gorgeous - it exceeded our expectations - your view of the bay is spectacular. The coffee and breakfast was delicious. And Norma - your kindness and caring to come out and find us in the rain when we were "slightly lost" biking to your B&B was so special. We will remember your thoughtfulness. Call us when you are in Winnipeg. Donna and Dave.
Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay at your warm and welcoming home. The pictures on your website immediately drew our attention.
The view as only surpassed by your warm hospitality.
Norma and Peter, I've had an incredible Sunshine Coast experience, thanks to you. Your home is spectacular. The view from my suite is priceless and to be able to enjoy breakfast with such a view was such a bonus. I took advantage of the Jacuzzi tub and the kitchenette - two features I've never seen in a B&B. Thank you for accommodating my dietary needs. The breakfasts were perfect, especially your homemade bread and granola, Norma. And last but not least, thank you for the advice - Skookumchuck and the Hidden Grove. I was awed. I will be back - maybe for the October Art Crawl.
We had a wonderful time here. The room is so cozy and we appreciated every detail.
Beautiful spot. Beautiful room. Had the best weekend.
The web photos do not do the b&b justice - one has to stay here to get the full experience! The suite is set up for long term guests as well as short term. From the heated floor to the coziness of the living area to the luxuriousness of the bed and the amazing view ... I cannot say enough. The food was delicious and the hospitality made me feel as if I was visiting old friends. At the Shore is my #1 pick for B&Bs. I hope to see you again.
